Mike is the President and Founder of Hummock Capital. He is also a General Partner of Legacy Family Holdings, a small multi-family PE group focused on minority investments in closely held manufacturing businesses. Mike started his career in finance - first at Citigroup on a credit trading desk and then at Glenmede Investment Management, while simultaneously obtaining his MBA. After graduate school, Mike entered his family business, Heyco Inc, as a 4th generation owner/operator. He started his career leading the national sales team for Heyco Products, eventually progressing to General Manager before shepherding a sale of this division to Penn Engineering. After the sale of Heyco Products, Mike orchestrated a leveraged buyout of the remaining division, Heyco Metals, and took over as President. During his time at Heyco Metals, Mike acquired Detroit based National Bronze Manufacturing and led both divisions to record revenue and profits. In 2022, Mike sold Heyco Metals and National Bronze to the Wieland Group. He remained with Wieland for a 9 month transition period before forming Hummock Capital. Mike serves on the board of directors for Benefix, a Lancaster based insurance technology company. He also serves on the board of trustees for the Lancaster Country Day School. Mike earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Vermont and his MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Mike lives in Lancaster, PA, with his wife and three kids
